Sept. 27

MCMC Invades CASINO AZTAR

Sponsored by the Schultz'

It's been a while since MCMC initiated a "RUN" on a casino, and I just know that your extra change is burning a hole in your pocket/purse.

So why not scratch that itch, and help Mike & Gail Schultz lighten the load at the CASINO AZTAR, 421 NW Riverside Drive in Evansville, Indiana on Sept. 27.

We will be meeting at the Cracker Barrel restaurant at Exit 201 on I-40 and Charlotte Pike just west of Nashville at 8 a.m. for breakfast. Our anticipated departure time will be 9 a.m. with full bellies, empty bladders, full tanks of gas & fresh batteries in our FRS radios.

Of course, the Schultz' will be taking some great, lightly traveled country roads up through Tennessee, Kentucky, into Evansville, Indiana to the Casino Aztar, http://www.casinoaztar.com/. ETA is anticipated for around 1 p.m. (CDT) and the schedule calls for just three short hours at the casino to either drop your load, OR, rob the place blind.

For anyone getting a case of the "munchies", there will be a lunch buffet available adjacent to the casino between 11 a.m & 2:30 p.m. at just under $10. But, you are advised to "eat light." Because, the Schultz' have found a real treat for dinner. They'll be pulling out of Evansville around 4:15 p.m. and heading for one of the top rated BBQ restaurants in the State of Kentucky, The MOONLITE BBQ, 2840 West Parrish Ave. in Owensboro, Kentucky, with an ETA of 5 p.m. ( http://www.moonlite.com/). Do check out their menu. Their BBQ promises to be some of the best you've ever tasted.

Following dinner, we'll return home via U.S.231/I-65, OR via Audubon/Pennyrile/U.S.41A/I-24, whichever is desired.

The Schultz' wish you all the Luck in the World on this year's Casino Run. Do let them know if you will need some extra trunk space for all the coins you will be bringing back to Tennessee. Do RSVP to Mike or Gail at (931) 553-4175 OR nbfam123@charter.net.

The Real Question is, " When You Turn Your little Car On, Does it Return the Favor ? ?"
