Red, White & Blue Commemoration

-- Sponsored by the Schultz

Nov.6

Veterans' Day Parade

Once again, Mike & Gail Schultz would like to invite you to join them on Nov. 6 for the

annual Veteran's Day Commemoration. It's the Club's opportunity to visit the home of the 101st Airborne Division & the Screaming Eagles and say "Thank You for Your Sacrifice and Service to our Country", through our participation in the annual Veterans Day Parade in Clarksville TN.

To start the day, we will be meeting at the Cracker Barrel at Exit 4 on I-24 in Clarksville TN at 7:30am CST for breakfast. Then we'll depart by 8:30am for the parade "line up area" (with a full tank and an empty bladder) with an ETA of 9am. We'll be dressing our little Miatas up in the traditional RED, WHITE & BLUE "clothing" resplendent with ribbons, flags, banners and color-coordinated helium filled balloons. A reminder that there will be NO candy associated with this parade.

The parade will start at 10am.

Mike has selected some great, inspirational, patriotic music, to be broadcast through our car stereo systems, as we run the parade route and interact with all of the local town people and Fort Campbell military personnel. This experience is guaranteed to boost your spirits as you show your appreciation for our freedom and those who preserve it.

BTW, we DO expect to take First Place Honors again in our parade class for a third year in a row.

Following the parade, we will return to the "line up area" to remove our decorations. There will be a rest stop shortly after departing the parade area. From there, we will proceed to Campbell's Country Kitchen for lunch. Campbell's Kitchen specializes in Schnitzel and Bul Gogi, plus numerous other choices.

Following lunch at Campbell's Kitchen, we will travel some great TN/KY backroads and make our way to Van Leer & the Tri County Farmer for their Steak Bonanza Buffet and family entertainment.

The Schultz would sincerely enjoy your participation and company for this event. And, if you have a Distinguished Guest or Veteran that you would like to have recognized during the parade, be sure and let Mike know, so our guest can be recognized as we pass the reviewing stand.

When you RSVP, please let Mike know if you will be participating in just the parade and lunch, or will be engaged in all the event activities during the full day. Please respond to MikeSchultz47@hotmail.com, nbfam123@charter.net or (931) 206-0896.
