High Speed Fun at the Nasville Superspeedway

sponsored by the Music City Mustang Club

This is a "Heads Up" to all Music City Miata Club Members. The Music City Mustang Club is sponsoring it's Semi-annual Track Event at the Nashville SuperSpeedway on Sept 18-19.

Be a part of the third annual MCA Sanctioned Fall event at the Nashville Superspeedway. You can attend the open track event either on Friday, or on Saturday, with a registration fee of $110.00 per day. This event offers all drivers the opportunity to not only run the Nashville track's interior/exterior Road Course, but also to take advantage of a Driving Instructor, which will be provided as part of the event, at no additional fee.

We have also been allocated free indoor garage space for our Miatas, if we have at least 10 participants. You will have approximately 75 minutes of total track time in 15-minute sessions with drivers of similar skill and experience level. Believe me, this is plenty of time to learn the road course and practice your newly learned skills. The track will usually wear your butt out.

This is an opportunity to test your driving skills and receive expert advice and instruction, while on the track, regarding safe driving at higher speeds. You'll also learn that the limiting item as NOT going to be your little Miata. The Miata will always respond, when you direct it to. You will not be "Racing" against other vehicles or against the clock. The intent is to learn to drive at higher speeds in a safe, confident manner. Ask anyone in the club who has participated in a "Driving School / Track Event," and they'll tell you that their driving skills and self confidence were both enhanced by the experience.

If you are already experienced above the Novice Level, the only restrictions, will involve "Passing" rules. Helmets are required. Club members can be provide some spare helmets. Liability insurance is included in the fee.
Space is limited. Application forms can be download from http://www.musiccitymustangclub.org/. Click on "Fall Open Track" on left menu, print the PDF application, and mail to the Mustang Club.
Please drop your Event Coordinator a not if you are participating:
