Bill & Jerry unseat two-year horseshoe champs Phil Matisak & Jimmy Todd had been reigning horseshoe champs for two years running, but Jimmy couldn't make it to defend his half of the title at the recent Cookout on Old Hickory Lake, Oct 25. Enter Bill Fairman & Jerry Christensian. They were relentless in putting down all "comers." And when the final shoe fell, a few people gifted with night vision could "tell".... Bill & Jerry are our new champs!!

Oct. 1: They're Baaaack!!! Well, it’s been 20 months since I had to put the project on hold. But now it’s time to dust off the feathers and get my “Willie” back out there! Jack, Ted and I have been working on this three piece version of the band and have put together a cleaner, tighter sound, and we’re anxious to get busy again. We will be at the Franklin Elks Lodge on October 10th, also starting at 8 PM. Come on out and have a great time with the boys! We will play some classic rock, some traditional country, some Texas blues… and lots of other stuff we will be trying to remember…See you soon!!!

About UsThe Music City Miata Club Inc is a not-for-profit organization whose sole objective is to enjoy the Miata MX-5 by gathering with fellow MX-5 entusiasts, drive to a variety of scenic locations, and enjoy food, drink and conversation. On the fourth Monday of each month, we meet at Piccadilly's (unless otherwise noted in our home page) in Nashville for general membership and Board meetings. A variety of weekend events are planned throughout the year, including scenic drives, overnight trips, tech days, drive-in movies, to name a few. Membership dues is $25 annually. |
