NOTICE, UPDATE & CANCELLATION OF ZOOMIN the MOUNTAINS of EAST TENNESSEE

Denny & Cheryl Rowlett are sad to announce that the official MCMC participation in the previously announced Tri-Cities Regional Event has been Canceled. We recently learned that the owner of the Bristol Motor Speedway had decided to close the track for a major upgrade and failed to provide any advanced notice nor honor previous commitments to the Tri-Cities Club. Tri-Cities has indicated that the BMS will make a drag strip adjacent to the main track available for timed racing, but the main track will be closed.

 

As a result, all of the Music City members who were planning on attending to run the track on Friday evening, have decided to cancel their registration and will not be making the trip to Johnson City. The Rowletts apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. If you made reservations for the Holiday Inn, be sure and cancel. If you have made payment to Tri-Cities, let us know if we can assist in any credit due.

 

Denny & Cheryl also wish to make all aware, as with any other Regional Event, you are more than welcome to participate on an individual basis. But that MCMC will not be sponsoring this event and the Rowletts will not be leading.

NOTE: The Music City Miata Club is planning another great outing for Saturday, June 2nd, which we are sure you will enjoy. Look for this Road Trip announcement Very Soon.

We BeZoomin the Mountains of East Tennessee sponsored by the Tri-Cities Miata Club on May 31st thru June 3rd.

Once you decide to Join the Fun for Sixth Annual Zoomin Event, print off the Registration Form, completely fill it out, indicating your choice of activities, food & Tee's, including your personal & Miata information. Then print off the Liability Disclaimer, fill it out and (all participants) sign it. Include a check for the appropriate $$$ (payable to Tri-Cities Miata Club) along with the completed Registration & Disclaimer forms and mail to: Tri-Cities Miata Club, P.O. Box 8984, Gray TN 37615.
