May 16th
May Day Ramble, Wine & Papa's Cajun Cafe (M)
- Sponsored by the Wrubles

Stan & Chris Wruble have an absolutely wonderful May Day planned for the

Music City Miata Club for Sunday May 16th. And they would like nothing better than to have you Join The Fun.

We will be starting out at 9:00AM, if you wish to have breakfast at the Cracker Barrel at the Charlotte Pike Exit 201 & I-40. They'll be pulling out at 10:00AM and taking off on some great middle Tennessee backroads for a the Amber Falls Winery at 794 Ridgetop Road in Hampshire TN   (931) 285-0088 with an ETA of 12:30PM. The Wrubles have taken the liberty to do some advanced wine tasting and report back on a good selection of (14) wines that are above average quality wise. They have a superb gallery & tasting room and an outdoor pavilion that's relaxing & blends with the rolling hills just off the Trace to the southwest of Columbia. Feel free to bring along some cheese, apples, crackers, etc. and we'll spend an hour or two just soaking up springtime in Tennessee.

We'll be taking off for PaPa Boudreaux's at 3419 Fly Road, Santa Fe, TN at 2:30PM (931) Stan has another hours worth of good roads planned and we should arrive at PaPa's at around 3:30 for dinner. PaPa's Menu is unbelievable. Check it out at PaPa out does himself every time the Music City Club pays him a visit with the likes of Gumbo, Red Beans & Rice w/Sausage, Shrimp Creole, Creole Fried Catfish, Boudin Chicken & Andouille Jambalaya, Garlic Butter Shimp w/Pasta. You get the picture. And the deserts are "to die for." You have to save some room for the Louisiana Chocolate Bread Pudding.

Any of our clubmembers who have been to PaPa's & to the French Quarter Music Festival, say PaPa's grub definitely gives New Orleans a run for its money. BTW, PaPa does not accept credit cards. But he does allow you to import wine or beer to aid in the digestion process. AEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEII !

SO, as can see, Stan & Chris have a wonderful Sunday outing planned for us on the 16th. And, all you have to do is RSVP to (615) 306-1197 or and tell them you'll be coming. How easy is that ?
