The Miata Armada is preparing to set sail!   Ahoy, Mates... and mate-ettes. Mark your calendars for Saturday, June 27. The Third Annual Miata Armada sets sail on Old Hickory Lake for convergence at Lindsley's Bend for a day-long blockade of party-poopers, neah-sayers, whiners, nincomepoops, complainers and dooms-dayers. The Armada will let pass only those who's intentions are good times with good friends and a day of leisure floating, swimming, relaxing, and game playing -- and of course eating -- with fellow MX-5 Enthusiasts.     The flagship house boat will be commanded by John & Brenda Clampitt, supported by an escort fleet of Club Member pontoon boats (The Van Hoven's, Provencher's & Matisak's and maybe more). Beginning about 12 noon, embarkation will takes place at the Matisak's dock in Mount Juliet and will serve as command headquarters for Armada Operations, as well as some land-based activities and support, a.k.a. food and drink.   Famous Dave's Ribs & Chicken and fixin's will be the faire. Cost will be about $8 per person. Beer, wine and soft drinks will be provided.
