Feb 6 -- Super Bowl Party Get Off the Porch     We might not have a local dog in the fight, but this is no time to sit on the porch – at least not on your own porch! With apologies to Michael Vick and the ASPCA, the annual Super Bowl always has the promise of a good dog-fight. And what better way to enjoy it than to gather with fellow dog-lovers and Miata Enthusiasts to watch the game, renew our bodies and souls with good friendship, good food and beverage – and tell stories (perhaps mis-remembered) of shared adventures of the year gone by? Answer: There is no better way! So, put on your favorite go-to-football-game clothes (ie, your favorite team colors), grab your favorite beverage and a side dish to share, and head out to the Matisak’s. They’ll have labored for you to prepare the delicious main course of some of the best Barbeque Ribs and Chicken you could ever dream of.  OK, really --- they’ll have picked it up at Famous Dave’s that afternoon, but it WILL be GOOD!  And worth every penny of the $5 they ask that you send in advance to: Lois & Phil Matisak (check made out to The Music City Miata Club, please), at 703 Longview Drive, Mt. Juliet, TN 37122, which coincidently is where the Party will be! Or, if you’re at the January Monthly Meeting, Jan. 24 at the ‘Dilly, you may pay at that time.
