August 28 FOUR BARRELS OF FUN Sponsored by Vic & Judy Davis     Join the MCMC for an afternoon of interesting places to visit, some great food & movies by moonlight on August 28!   Barrel #1 - Vic and Judy Davis will be leading a trip to Prichards Rum Distillery in Kelso, TN.  We will be leaving the Franklin Cracker Barrel Restaurant located at 4210 Franklin Commons Court, Franklin, TN (I-65, Exit 65 at Hwy 96 ), at 11:30am with a full tummy and tank, and an empty bladder, and heading South on I-65 for a short Super Slab run to Exit 37 to Lewisburg.    There, we will pick up highway 431 and take it into Fayetteville, TN, and then on to Kelso with an arrival time at Prichards of 2pm. Prichards is the only rum distillery in Tennessee.  Visit them at www.prichardsdistillery.com. They are located at 11 Kelso Smithland Road in Kelso which is just off highway 64 going East out of Fayetteville, TN.   Prichards will break us up into two groups for the tour.  We should be through with the tour by 2:30pm and a 2:45pm departure time to our next stop.   Barrel #2 - The next stop is Falls Mill at 3:15pm, a still operating grist mill actively milling corn, flour, barley, etc, for display and sale in their store.  Falls Mill is located at 134 Falls Mill Road in Belvidere, TN.  You can visit them at www.fallsmill.com.  In addition to the mill and store, there is a very picturesque meadow downstream from the mill where you can walk around, look back at the water wheel, and wiggle your piggies in the mill stream.   We will leave Falls Mill at 4:15pm.   Barrel #3 -We will arrive next at Arezzo's Italian Restaurant in Winchester, TN at about 4:45pm.  Arezzo's is located at 101 1st Ave Northwest on the square in Winchester.  If you went to the Winchester Dogwood Festival, the parking lot we parked in was right behind Arezzo's.   You can visit Arezzo's at www.arezzos.com to see their menu.  They do have a full bar, and they have promised us free parking behind the restaurant and some free appetizers (yes, that's right, FREE) .   Barrel #4 - At 6:30pm, we will depart Arezzo's and head to the Montana Drive-In Movie at 10251 Tullahoma Highway in Estill Springs, TN.  It's the only Drive-In in Tennessee with three screens, so the movie options are max.  You can visit them at www.montanadrivein.com.
