FRENCH QUARTER FESTIVAL
To all my fellow cajuns (in spirit at least), Thought I would go ahead and send out the Holiday Inn - French Quarter reservation number (504-529-7211 ext 2162), so that you could make your reservations early, if you so desire. Just to remind you, the nightly rate is $199 (Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday) .
In addition, a $6 daily rate for parking will be charged. There is a 3-day minimum stay. This is an increase from last year due to major conference havng been booked at the Holiday Inn French Quarter during the same period of time. Some of our group will being coming back on Sunday, and others will be staying over until Monday...your choice.
I have a block of 15 rooms, which is the maximum rooms they will hold for us, due to the conference. So, you might want to go ahead and make your reservations. They will ask you for a credit card #, however, no charges will be made to that card until we arrive.
One bit of caution, there is a 30 day cancellation policy, so if you make reservations, and for whatever reason, can't go, you will need to cancel before Mar. 7, 2011.
